Uffizzi

One of the famous museums of Florence, though I did not find it all that facinating. The main famous painting here is the Botticelli, "La Primavera del Botticelli" and also "The birth of Venus", more commonly refered to as "Venus on the half shell". Lots of fat contorted bodies painted in this place, many gothic paintings also. You can see original sketches from the greats here, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are represented
